Who we are

Club Roll Up


Our club is made up of a friendly group of bowlers. We offer a welcoming environment for both beginners and experienced players.


We're always keen to welcome new members, whatever age or skill. We provide coaching for beginners and practice bowls are available for beginners to give it a try. All you need are flat soled shoes.


The club's green is maintained to a high quality by a very dedicated team of volunteers, and our grounds maintenance team have received national recognition for their hard work.

English Bowls & English Women's Bowls Federation

The English Bowling Federation was formed in 1945, although the grass roots of the Federation may well be traced back some 53 years earlier to the North-East of England, at which time the Northumberland and Durham Bowling Association was formed when four Newcastle Public Park Clubs formed an alliance adapting rules which differed from the stronger and more popular EBA (now known as Bowls England).
